Description
This workshop discusses alcohol and substance use in the construction industry and how it relates to mental health. We will begin by discussing statistics and background information, and then go into more detail on why this sector is heavily affected by alcohol and substance use.
Participants will gain knowledge on how to support both themselves and their loved ones if they are experiencing struggling with substance use or mental health issue.
The presentation will end with a brief introduction by Tailgate Toolkit which will discuss their resources and harm reduction.
