The BC Construction Safety Alliance is a not-for-profit association that provides services to over 52,000 construction companies employing over 220,000 workers. Funded by construction, plus select aggregate and ready-mixed industry companies, BCCSA is paid for through a portion of employers' WorkSafeBC annual assessments. BCCSA provides a range of services that (a) focus on injury prevention and creating or enhancing a culture of safety on construction sites; and (b) meet a diversity of needs among owners, managers, supervisors, and workers.As a safety association recognized by WorkSafeBC, BCCSA promotes and develops workplace health and safety in compliance with WorkSafeBC’s regulations and guidelines. The BCCSA also acts as the construction industry’s apolitical spokesperson on construction health and safety issues. BCCSA is part of the Canadian Federation of Construction Safety Associations (CFCSA).
