VICA Announces the Recipients of the 2019 VICA Awards
On Tuesday, April 23rd at the Ocean Pointe Resort in Victoria, members of Vancouver Island's industrial, commercial, institutional, civil, and multi-family residential construction sector gathered at the Vancouver Island Construction Association's inaugural Awards Gala. Over wine and a three-course meal, industry leaders united for an evening of networking as they were recognized for the exceptional work they do to build our local communities across the Island.
Over 50 forms were submitted for twelve prestigious awards. Congratulations to all nominees, finalists, and recipients.

The 2019 Education Leadership Award recognizes an individual who has volunteered a considerable amount of time in the role of advancement of education for the betterment of the construction industry.
The Safety Award is designed to honour those contractors who have maintained a superior safety record during the year. Awards are based on a contractor’s claims experience record with the Workers’ Compensation Board. ** The Safety Awards were not presented individually at the Gala.
