Four VICA Members elected to the Board of Directors at 2017 Annual General Meeting

Stuart Cuthbert, Mark Liudzius, Chris Lyons, and Kate Ulmer were elected to the Vancouver Island Construction Association (VICA) Board of Directors on October 19th at the 2017 Annual General Meeting.

Thank you to the nine nominees that ran for election and for everyone who attended at the VICA offices in Victoria and Nanaimo. Special guests included Don Cameron, Past Chair; Chris Atchison, President of BCCA; and Honourary Life Members Gerry Bischoff of Miranda Construction, Jim Beaman (and his wife Minnie), and Gene Beaudry. The meeting was connected via video conferencing and met quorum through advance- and day-of voting. The VICA constitution defines a quorom as 25 industry members in good standing.

Stuart, Mark, Chris, Kate, we look forward to your enthusiasm on the Board and your participation on the various committees. Outgoing Directors include Katy Fairley, Kinetic Construction; Doug Savory Archie Johstone Plumbing & Heating; and Brian Kapuscinski, KPL James Architecture.
