Join our WiC Victoria Network for an exclusive virtual tour of the mega-project Site C Clean Energy Project.
The project includes construction of a new dam and hydroelectric generating station on the Peace River which will provide enough energy to power the equivalent of approximately 450,000 homes per year in BC.
Other notable project components are the access roads, temporary bridge, cofferdams, worker accommodation, realignment of Hwy 29 and shoreline protection.
WiC will be hosting AFDE representative Scott Marshall to learn about the project progression, coordination, and challenges.

ABOUT OUR SPEAKER: SCOTT MARSHALL, PROJECT DIRECTOR
Scott was born and raised in Winnipeg, Manitoba and moved out to BC after graduating with a Civil Engineering degree from the University of Manitoba in the late 1990’s.
Scott has worked around Western Canada but mainly in Hydroelectric projects throughout the Province of BC with various roles starting as a Field Engineer to Project Director. Scott joined Aecon in 2010 for the Waneta Expansion Project in Trail and recently completed the John Hart Project in Campbell River.
