Young Builders Network

Mandate

To develop a young executive’s network in order to provide an atmosphere of networking to build relationships within the construction community; to present information, professional development and leadership or mentorship opportunities that will benefit the individual YBN members and their respective companies; to participate in community engagement initiatives; and to support and promote career paths in the construction industry.

YBN is proudly supported by the Vancouver Island Construction Association.

Events

The VICA YBN Network has two separate functions each month:

  • Executive Meetings:
    Everyone is welcome to attend. The purpose is to discuss upcoming programming, as well as to plan and shape the committee.

  • Networking & Professional Development Events:
    All YBN members are encouraged to attend. These events vary, with each one focused on fulfilling our mandate.

The Builders & The Tools Podcast

Join AJ and Barclay “the Beard of Wisdom” while they interview Vancouver Island’s construction leaders. They dive into what has made these successful men and women; asking about their experiences, stories and advice they have to offer for those who are grinding their way to the top.

Curious about sponsoring an event?

Sponsorship varies and includes:

  • Logo in email marketing;
  • Logo on the registration page;
  • Option to speak for five (5) minutes at the start of the meeting; and
  • Option to distribute promo or marketing information to attendees.
