Committees are an important part of the Board of Director´s function and responsibilities, and established to assist the Board in achieving the Association´s goals and objectives, and ultimately its mission.

Social and Networking Committee To oversee the proposed annual VICA social and networking program including event programs and budgets, and be a resource to staff in their planning and excecution of the program, and make recommendations to the board.	Carole Bissett Jardine Lloyd Thompson
Education and Training Committee To identify relevant topics of interest, develop education and training programs to promote and offer to the construction industry. Trades and Scholarship Committee To develop partnerships with island colleges, post secondary schools and educators, to support and promote a career path in construction, as well as develop an annual scholarship program for deserving students within the Island school districts. Young Construction Leaders Committee To develop an informal communication network among young future executives (under 40 years) in order to: Promote network relationships within the construction industry Develop a forum to establish industry contacts and leads Provide information and industry activities and opportunities that will enhance and profit the individual and their respective companies Provide an opportunity for members to invest in their employees’ development as the next generation of construction executives Leadership development.
